Owed (“Owed,” “we,” “us”), operated by EJCOM LLC, helps you discover class action settlements you may qualify for and assists you in filing claims. This policy explains what personal information we collect through imowedmoney.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact and account info — your email address and name when you sign up or enter your email in our eligibility quiz.
- Eligibility answers— responses you give in the quiz, such as your state, age range, gender, products and services you’ve used, and whether you’ve received a data breach notice. We use these to match you to settlements.
- Claimant details — if you file claims through Owed, the information needed to complete them, such as your legal name and mailing address.
- Payment information — subscriptions are processed by our payment provider (Whop). We receive your subscription status; we do not store your card number.
- Usage data and cookies — device and usage information collected via cookies and similar technologies, including analytics events and, where you arrive through a partner link, referral attribution.
How we use it
- Match you to settlements and estimate potential payouts.
- Prepare and track the claims you choose to file.
- Operate your account, process subscriptions, and provide support.
- Send you service emails (like sign-in codes) and, with your consent, reminders and updates about settlements you may qualify for. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time via the link in any message.
- Improve the product and measure marketing performance.
When we share it
- Settlement administrators — when you file a claim, the details required for that claim go to the court-appointed administrator handling the settlement.
- Service providers — we use vetted vendors to run Owed: cloud database hosting, email delivery, marketing email, product analytics, payment processing, and affiliate measurement. They process data only on our instructions.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect Owed, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep your information while your account is active or while needed to support claims you’ve filed, then delete or de-identify it unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or delete your information, and object to or restrict certain processing, by emailing help@imowedmoney.com. If you’re a California resident, you also have the rights provided by the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete; we honor these for all users.
Children
Owed is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date above and notify you by email or in the product.
